Golf Tip - Swing Your Arms to Hit the Ball Long -

If you want to hit the ball long the best golf tip I know is to swing your arms from shoulder high on the back swing to shoulder high on your follow-through.

I have described this action elsewhere in my golf tips as being like swinging a length of rope. You have to be patient and not try to force your shoulders or your hands to move too fast.

All three parts of your body, your shoulders, arms and hands have to work in smooth co-ordination.

On the Golf Mind-Movies web site I suggest that to construct an effective golf Mind-Movie you need to think of a Mind-Movie as being like a computer software program that has to be correctly installed on the right operating platform in order for it to work properly.

When your Golf Mind-Movie works correctly you will find that your shoulders, arms and hands work in perfect co-ordination and you hit the ball long.

All the best

Nothing of mine works in co-ordination but I will try it. Looks like it is time to turn on the word verification.

Great blog!!! I'm a scratch golfer that has played in amatuer tournaments for the past 30 years.

As with most accomplished amateurs, I've achieved moderate success in tournament play. My scores tedn to go up around tournament time. My conclusion is a lack of self confidence and succumbing to the fear of failure.

I'm intrigued with your thinking around visualization and positive self talk. I'd like to review your book and offer my thoughts and feedback. Let me know if you are still looking for help.
