Golf Tip - Training Cure for the Chicken Wing -
In yesterdays blog I gave a golf tip that you should try to avoid the 'chicken wing' because of the disastrous effect that it has on your golf shots.
The best form of training, if you suffer from this affliction, is to practice with a towel wrapped round your chest and tucked under your arms.
The aim is to keep your arms attached to your torso throughout your swing. Nick Faldo, winner of 5 Major Championships used to practice this drill.
All you have to do is get a small towel, place it across your chest and under your arms. You then keep the towel in place by keeping your arms pinned to your sides throughout your golf swing.
If you practice this golf tip you will soon find that you cure any tendency you may have for the 'chicken wing'.
It is important that you build into your Golf Mind-Movies an image of yourself swinging with your arms close to your sides so that the swing is under control.
All the best
